About Yessica Ross, LPC
Helping you understand and break the cycles that keep repeating.
My Story
I immigrated from Mexico to the United States as a child, and that experience shaped so much of who I am. The transition was overwhelming and filled with moments where I carried more than I should have had to. I struggled with self-esteem, identity, relationships, and emotional patterns that kept repeating, even when I deeply wanted change.
I went through much of that alone. That experience is what led me to become a therapist.
I wanted to be the person I once needed. Someone who listens closely, understands cultural and family dynamics, and helps you untangle the patterns that have been shaping your life without your consent. Someone who honors both your story and your values.
I believe we are created for connection. When we feel disconnected from ourselves, our families, or our sense of purpose, we experience real pain. My work is to help you understand that pain, reconnect with what matters most, and move toward healing with clarity, compassion, and hope.
For clients who desire it, faith can be thoughtfully woven into our work as a source of strength, meaning, and guidance, always alongside evidence-based care.
What I Do
BTC Psychotherapy is a bilingual therapy practice supporting individuals, couples, and families as they work to understand their emotional patterns and break free from unhealthy cycles that often get passed down through families.
I work with clients navigating:
01
Repeating relationship patterns
02
Family and generational cycles
03
Attachment wounds
04
Anxiety and depression
05
Trauma and childhood experiences
06
Grief, numbness, and emotional disconnection
07
Cultural identity and transitions
08
Motherhood and shifting roles
09
Trust issues and relational pain
My Approach
Cycles don’t break through willpower alone. They break through awareness, healing, and support.
Warm and honest
1
I hold space with compassion, clarity, and respect for your story.
Practical
2
Sessions include tools you can use in real life, not just in the therapy room.
Culturally aware
3
Your culture, family background, and upbringing matter here.
Attachment-based
4
We trace patterns back to their roots so change can be lasting.
Faith is always approached with care and consent. When it’s meaningful to you, we can integrate Christian values, prayer, or spiritual reflection in ways that support healing rather than overwhelm it.
Why Cycles Matter:
Many of us grew up in environments where:
➤ Feelings were ignored
➤Boundaries didn’t exist
➤Conflict meant danger
➤Needs were minimized
➤Love felt inconsistent
➤Roles were assigned, not chosen
These experiences shape the patterns you carry today.
Understanding them is the first step.
Learning to respond differently is where healing begins.

What I Believe
Healing happens when you feel safe.
Your culture and upbringing matter.
Patterns make sense when you learn where they came from.
You’re allowed to grow beyond what you were taught.
Change is possible.
You don’t have to do any of this alone.
