Clinical Therapy Services In Athens, GA
Breaking the cycle of emotional exhaustion and relational distance starts with a single, intentional step. We provide a safe, bilingual, and trauma-informed environment where you can explore the roots of your story and build the tools for a more connected future. Whether you are seeking personal growth or looking to repair a disconnected relationship, our therapeutic approach is designed to meet you where you are.
Relational Therapy: Strengthening Connection & Safety
Relational therapy focuses on the health of the connection—whether romantic, familial, or friendship-based. Instead of assigning blame, we focus on the "Relational Cycle" — the loop that both people get pulled into during conflict.
Session Info: 55-minute standard or 90-minute extended
(Highly Recommended).
Key Focus Areas:
Map the Cycle: Identify the "dance" of closeness and withdrawal.
Emotional Safety: Build a space where unmet needs can be shared without fear.
Communication Tools: Learn and practice new ways of speaking and listening.
Secure Attachment: Repair wounds and build a stronger, more intentional bond.
Individual Therapy: A Space for Personal Growth
Individual therapy is your space to slow down and get curious about your emotional world. We go beyond surface-level symptoms to explore your story, attachment style, and the cycles that show up in your life even when you want things to be different.
Session Info: 55-minute standard or 90-minute extended sessions.
Key Focus Areas:
Identify Root Patterns: Uncover where your automatic reactions originated.
Nervous System Awareness: Understand triggers and build grounding skills.
Perinatal Support: Specialized care for maternal mental health (PMH-C).
Healthier Responding: Practice new ways of relating to yourself and others.
Navigating Life’s Complexities with Steady Support
You don't have to carry the weight of these cycles alone. I provide specialized, trauma-informed support for the emotional and relational challenges that impact your daily peace. My approach is designed to help you find clarity within the following areas:
Relational & Intergenerational Cycles: We work to break repeating relationship patterns and understand the family and intergenerational cycles that shape how you connect with others. We focus on healing trust and betrayal wounds to build a more secure future.
Emotional Wellbeing & Stability: Find relief from the persistent weight of anxiety and depression. I provide a safe space to navigate grief and emotional heaviness, helping you move from a state of "survival" back into "equilibrium."
Trauma & Attachment Healing: For those navigating Trauma and PTSD, we use a nervous-system-informed approach to address attachment wounds and restore your sense of internal safety.
Identity, Culture & Life Transitions: I specialize in supporting clients through identity and cultural stress, as well as the unique challenges of motherhood and role transitions. Your cultural context is always respected and honored in our work.

At the start of our work, I typically recommend weekly sessions to build steady momentum and establish a foundation for change. As you begin to feel more confident in your new tools and patterns, we can naturally transition to bi-weekly or monthly maintenance sessions. Your care plan is always tailored to your specific pace and needs.

es. I am currently in-network with Alliant Health, Kaiser Permanente, and United Healthcare (UHC). For all other insurance providers, I am considered an 'Out-of-Network' provider. In these cases, I can provide you with a monthly Superbill (a detailed receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

I offer a flexible mix of care. I provide in-person sessions at my office in Athens, GA, and virtual telehealth sessions for clients located throughout Georgia and South Carolina. Per licensing requirements, you must be physically located in either GA or SC at the time of our session.

My style is warm, grounded, and practical. I utilize an attachment-based and trauma-informed approach to help you identify the roots of your reactions. We focus heavily on the 'Relational Cycle'—the patterns that keep showing up in your life—and work together to replace them with healthier ways of connecting.

Item descriptionAbsolutely. As a Christian therapist, I am happy to integrate faith into our work if it is a meaningful part of your life and support system. However, this is always client-led; faith is only incorporated if you desire it, and it is never forced.
